The Wise Words of Mr. Bell

Ok, guys. So those of you who had humanities or choir with me - remember how i wrote all those Mr. Bell quotes on the back of my binder? Well they all started rubbing off so I wrote them all down. I tried posting them here but for some reason every time I try it won't let me post them. So they are posted on my blog. go check em out if you want some laughs and good memories of the mr. bell-isms. :):)

uh oh...i should charge per hair cut....maybe then i could pay for my education...

so i think i'm havin an influence over the boys...i've seen the frequency of mohawks (legit ones...none of this fauxhawk stuff) go up like a rediculous amount...i've already shaved 2 boys heads....i convinced my friend pat not to completely shave his head...so after one guy put a huge gash in his head and took off a huge chunck of hair i got the razor and gave him a mohawk....AND HE LIKES IT....i'm definitely a fan of the mohawk popularity...i could get used to this...especially since now, 2 of the 3 guys i hang out with on a somewhat regular basis have hawks...hahaha...i love my influence....i'm thinkin next i'll try to convince my friend ian to get a hawk...he wants his head shaven and i think he'd look even more badass with a hawk...we can only try right? whats the worse that can happen? you just shave it all off? not a problem....

Marker of the Week

Introducing the Marker of the Week!

Dailee

um, need we even say why dailee joyce is awesome? well, let's do anyway. pink dreads. that pretty much sums it up. it's cliched, and i know you've heard it before dailee, but you're your own person. i had maybe 3 classes with you at nerinx and they were the ones with the best discussions. you know yourself and your opinion so you can accurately and intelligently protray your position. i can't wait to see what you'll be and do.

This is just down-right creepy...

ok, i had to share. i just learned that apparently 68% of knox students end up finding their life mate here at knox. that's so creepy.

the velvet ain't got shit compared to suite 152

right so whoever comes out to fo co to visit me...well...plan on being here on a wednesday night...cause well, thats the only night that the club in fo co lets in the 18+ crowd...so you think rural college town and you do not think clubs...not with good music anyway....

so think club velvet in stl...cept its 96% white 18-22 yr old guys...2:1 girl to guy ratio instead of 6:1 like in stl....think way cleaner...way better music....with the same lights and platforms....think of a dance floor of about the same size surrouneded by little curtained booths like you see in the fancy clubs in the movies....think of all the people more casually dressed....the bouncers nicer....the look trendier...and no fat old smelly guys staring at your ass all night...think more outgoing good looking guys...who can...oh i don't know...actually dance...think $7 cover charge....

now all i have to do is forget that i have a 9 am midterm tomarrow and we'll be good...so in conclusion...come on out to fo co if for nothin else than to go clubbin mmmk?

concerning condoms

about 18 years ago, grinnell college held a condom sculpture contest. the school newspaper wrote a story about it, which was picked up by the des moines register, and then newsweek. there was a big outcry from the alumni, and it was never done again. until tonight.

yes, my friends, i have participated in this momentous occassion. though sadly "the super condom man" did not win, nor did moses and his eleventh commandment (thou shalt not have unprotected sex), it was quite a riot. the winning team had food (a bagel, a soda, a pear) inside inflated condoms, and each item was trying to eat the "stds" on the plate in front of them. however, they were all protected, showing that condoms can work for anyone. i personally really liked the taj mahal made of condoms. pictures to follow.

hm.. i see a trend in these last few entries...

ok so ive been having fun here at truman, and i am so glad that i have people here that i know and can be goofy around. but lately ive noticed that ym level of goofiness has gone down a bit and im like wft mate? i mean i can say and do silly things around our friends here of course and around some of the new people ive met, but it just isnt the same. they arent you guys. i cant say "and then they made me their cheif" or "i see youre admiring my little box" around these people because they have no idea what im talking about and will probably poke me until i crouch in a corner and do the "memememememe" llama face. see! that right there!! thats the humor that i miss!!! i cant wait to see you all again and go nuts. like to squirrels up here. woah are they crazy. chica, you'd love them. i'll try and send you one... ok maybe not... there too.... ok thanksgiving needs to get here fast.

"wake me up when september ends"

just need to whinge a bit

I've gradually been feeling more and more homesick. Not for St. Louis, or my family, necessarily, but just for a space of my own to feel comfortable in and people to take for granted. Its too much to have to adjust both to living in a dorm and to taking college classes at the same time. Especially when you don't even like your classes. I've been playing the same CD over and over whenever I'm in my room just because it reminds me of home. And of course it doesn't help any that I can't really eat without it being painful. Meh.

Creepy Story

Ok so the other night I was on the phone with Tammy Porker. I had full service too. Anyway, we were just talking having a normal conversation (at least as normal as any conversations i ever have) and the phones cut out. So I was like "Tom? Tom??" and just hung up the phone and called him back.

When I called him back he told me that when the phones cut out he heard a man's voice saying "She'll call you back later". How creepy is that? Tom says that we must have picked up someone elses conversation but it is still weird that we just happened to pick up a conversation at the exact moment a man was saying "She'll call you back later" even when I had full service and our connection was fine. You know? Well, it creeped me out and everytime I think about it I get scared...but I am scared of everything so I guess it's nothing new.

i miss you all

hey, miss you all. keep finding people that remind me off you guys, and really want to tell someone about it but no one would have any idea of what i mean. people think i'm crazy because i say, "you remind me of...." and they just say "thanks" and walk away. so there's my fp teacher who has clothes worse than mrs. kemners. just so you know. she's crazy. teachers dress so funky. oh, and just so you know, drew turned six yesterday, and he had a medieval party (he's my brother...can you tell by the theme...i left my mark! :)). and the knight from the reniassance fair that we had a nerinx came with a couple of his buddies, so there was sword fighting and such. and all the little kids came dressed up in knight and princess costumes (not at the same time obviously). they all looked really cute apparently.
anywho. i just wanted to say, "i miss you all."

p.s.

since i am a loser, i have created my own blog. and i feel the need to tell all of you so that i will feel gratified. you don't actually have to look at any time soon; i will put up many interesting pictures. so check back later for those.

can't talk so i'll write

So even though I feel like I'm bragging I'll show you all the new addition to my mouth.

There was a stick-your-tongue-out-at-everyone-you-know phase but now I'm in the I-have-a-little-secret phase. I stuck it out for you guys though. (With the help of my new phone which is f.ing amazing.)

this country is wiggity wack yo

so i thought i'd hate having to read the newspaper everyday for my politics class. yah, but no. the news is funny. here are some highlights i thought i'd share:

(From the observor)
"Armed and dangerous - Flipper the firing dolphin let loose by Katrina

by Mark Townsend Houston
Sunday September 25, 2005
The Observer

It may be the oddest tale to emerge from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Armed dolphins, trained by the US military to shoot terrorists and pinpoint spies underwater, may be missing in the Gulf of Mexico.

okay next item....

new book on amazon. a children's book entitled "help! Mom! there are liberals under my bed!" here's an excerpt: "But when liberals start demanding that Tommy and Lou pay half their money in taxes, ... the young brothers experience the downside to living in Liberaland"

next on the list of "the world's gone crazy" items....

bill for first lady website . you know what's even sadder though? i just joined the hilary in '08 club here at wellesley (she went here ya know). and they're serious.

well, that's it from me for now. back to you at the main desk.

ford, out.

Ugh

I am sick and it sucks. I have a fever and my throat is killing me. My roommate got it and then Ben got it, Becky got it, Sarah got it, Brad got it, Denise got it, and now its just my turn to get it I guess (these are all people from 3 North in MO Hall). Anyway I am missing French class right now. Anyway, I hope I get better before this weekend cause thats when Tom is coming down to visit and that would be a not fun weekend if I had to just lay around the whole time cause I felt like shit.

i miss ella!

ok, so you know how some people just fit into specific personality types, and you can tell pretty quickly? well, there's this girl who reminded me of ella because she's got a similar personality thing going on. so i sat by her one day at lunch and explained that it seemed like we would get along pretty darn well, but we never happened to run into each other. and i explained the whole personality type thing, so then she asked what her type was. i said, "you're probably kind of quiet around people you don't know, but you're a very nice person. you love harry potter. you also enjoy japanese culture, perhaps through anime, but you like japan in general." (i was dead on. she also used to do karate.) so i sat with her at lunch and chatted with her and some other people.

but sadness of sadness, i realized to my dismay that she pales in comparison to ella. ella is much kinder, and funnier, and just a fabulous person in general. damn. ella, i miss you!

ducky..

Ok, so everyone remembers the show "Animaniacs" right?
Well does anyone remember that one part with the little kid who was a duck or something and he was being potty trained and he kept putting stuff in the toilet and he would flush it and then he would say "____ went down da hoooole!"
and then he put his rubber ducky down and he say "ducky went down da hooole!!"
and then stuff started coming back up and each time he would yell "____ came back!!!"
anyone remember that? I think it was animaniacs....
well anyway, this one girl in my calculus class said "ducky went down da hooole" the other day, and i started laughing really hard cause i loved that sketch thing when i was little.

henson's creations

so the other night i went to walmart (yes i know ha ha ha kirksville's poo hahaha) and i was about to check out when i saw this cart thing with a whole bunch of dvds for 5 bucks. i was like i can afford that. so the movie that i found and bought was "the muppets take manhattan". i was thrilled to find it cause i love the muppets. who doesnt? and then i was thinking... what is it about the muppets that i love sooo much. is it their cuteness? the comedy? the fun characters and wacky situations? or a combination? i just dont know... but really, why do you love the muppets? what is it about them that keeps you coming back for more?

very belated ode to mrm. i luuuuuv mrm/pip because she amuses me and she's cool and i'm sure we have inside jokes but they all escape me at this moment. um, i remember you most as the white rabbit from alice in wonderland and how you hated it. no, wait! i remember you as mozart in still life! ha! that was even funnier! yah, anyway, you've gotten some crap parts in the early acting years, but you really developed into an amazing actress and a purty damn cool person. luv ya mrm.

Weirdness

So, does anyone else feel like they really aren't in college? When I think, I'm in college now it doesn't seem right. It's weird. I still feel like I'm in highschool and I will see everyone again and that this college stuff is just a break from highschool.

Anyway that probably only made sense to me. Or something. But who cares because Tommy Parker is coming up to Truman and I have not been this happy for a long time. Whee!!

a little reminder of the good ol days

remember when we were young and watched disney movies and sang along? and then when high school hit, you wondered if anyone else still watched disney movies or if you were just that weird? and then we all met and found that singing along to the movies was still cool (at least to us). then college came around, and all of a sudden everyone seemed to be more mature than you. well, lucky me, i found more people just like you guys. 2 guys and i started a disney movie night on tuesdays at which you can sing along. thank god, i'm not the only one who hasn't grown up. i think i want to be a child (meaning 18) forever. it's so much fun. i hope all of you find the cool people at college who aren't afraid to express their love for disney movies.

things that are funny @ college

-i now have a really cool "st. louis" accent. seriously, people from oklahoma sit there and listen to me talk, it's weird
-the towns here are as big as south county.. haha... sooo little
-my dorm (lottie jane) and matt and brian's dorm (john) have a cute little love story involving two creepy paintings to go along with it
-the fact that facebook is a cult and that because people are your friend on facebook that they think you are friends in real life as well
-the squirrels here are amazing (carolyn you'd be in heaven!) but they just lay around, people don't scare them at all, today i stepped over a squirrel b/c it was in the middle of the sidewalk just sitting there eating a nut..
-english classes consist of watching the matrix
-that my work study hours are 1-5am, that's right i just don't sleep anymore
-that to get my mail i have to do a combo lock .. so i just don't check my mail.. too much effort
-that my mascot is a golden hurricane even though we're in the middle of oklahoma.. that makes sense
-keeping a turtle as a pet in your dorm is hilarious
-free food is available EVERY SINGLE DAY! (yep.. everyday some organization gives out free lunch) i only ever have to use my meal plan for dinner.. it's amazing
-sluh boys are everywhere here! you turn around and there's one and then you turn around again and there are 20
-cliques still exist from high school (seriously i don't think that cor jesu girls talk to anyone not from cja)
-your roommate likes to hang her bras up all over the room just b/c it scares your friends
-people named jojo (oh yes... a boy... *sigh*)

the bald eagle stole my bacon

dane cook: what do you mean he stole your bacon? bacon is expensive!

(warning, here's a positive rant on college that i wanted to share just because, so it may be boring to those i haven't share the last month of my life with)

i saw dane live in nyc at madison square garden. and i love ny. (cliched, ain't it?) but it was so great. and then i spent the weekend in worcester. so great too.

okay, so here's a list of great things, so i won't repeat myself too often:
- auditioning for and making Dead Serious, Wellesley's comedy improv troupe
- having a congratulations sign for the aforementioned feat on my door from my friend
- being elected senator from my dorm
- playing ultimate frisbee
- having people miss you when you go out of town
- writing letters
- auditioning and not making the Wellesley College Dancers (for some reason, i'm really glad)
- BOYS!!!! (yes, there are boys! there may even be a boy! (yeah for carolyn's theory!!) haha for all those who said i go to lesbian school!
- everything! (except calculus tests...)

the exorcism

um, so yea, my friend lindsey trout just informed me that the exorcist the Exorcist movie was based on happened at my school. in a building that i can see from my room. it's DuBourg Hall, it's right on Grand, next to the church. it's a gorgeous building, and really beautiful inside, but we were walking past it tonight and she mentioned it and told me what floor it was on and i got a creepy feeling on my neck because the lights in front of the building were casting huge shadows all over it, and there were trees....it was creepy. so yea, i didn't know that. just thought i'd throw that out there.
ooh and something weird. tonight i went to dinner and ate almost a whole hamburger and some fries that looked like waffles (we call them "waffle fries"--go figure) and then some ice cream that i couldn't finish, and when i got back to my room i suddenly felt WAY naseous and then i got a fever. so i was just chillin for a bit, trying to feel better, and about 45 minutes later i was suddenly fine. no fever and no tummy ache. how weird is that? especially because this just happened to my friend lindsey two nights ago. odd a lodd....
anyways, ciao for now, crazy things. keep having fun while i hold the fort here in good ol san louis.

hey lovebugs

hello all my girly lovebugs. what's new?....wow, really dumb question. like jax said, you're all part new, woohoo! anyway, just thought i'd drop a line, say hello, you know. meep meep. hey, could you all post your addresses at school here, 'n maybe i'll get postcard or note happy or some such adventure. life's grand, lthough there is much missing for you all. love bunches. toodles.

LEAP for the 4th!!

I just had the most amazing weekend of my life. I have never cried so many happy tears or felt so loved, especially by people I hardly even know. I would love you write all about it, but it's a big secret, so I can't risk putting it on the Internet. But if I talk to any of you on the phone, I would be ecstatic to tell you all about it. I am so happy and so full of love right now. I love and miss you all! Call me!!! Oh, and I should have my cell phone soon; it got mailed to my St. Louis home. Check my AIM profile for my number! I love you!!!

missing in a nice way

I'd just like you all to know that even though I feel like a different person every second ( - which I am because my brain is always changing and how else are people different? - ) its very comforting that you know me and have a steady concept of me, where when I see you again you'll only know pieces of me but we'll learn to know eachother again. Something that has stuck with me for some reason - I think because I'm really searching for who I am at the moment - was this time with Angela when we were walking along the beachline in Michigan and she said something about how she'd like to see how I would change in a year from that moment. I would too. Just as I'd like to see how she'd change and how all of us will change. It'll be good to see you all again so I can re-know you and be in the same place with you and feel good about being myself around you.

Jacquelyn + Independence = SUCH A SLACKER

Sir Patsy the Fuzzy-butt

ok, so college is sooo crazy. last night my friends and i watched the classic movie "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", and after the movie finished we felt very inspired...so we built a Trojan Bunny. (For those of you who don't know, in monty python, bedivere suggests to arthur that they build a large wooden bunny rabbit to get into the french castle. of course, bedivere forgets that you also have to get into the bunny to get into the castle.) luckily, we still had a large amount of large cardboard boxes lying around since we only moved in a little more than a week ago. so we built Sir Patsy the Fuzzy-butt, and we placed him on top of the cafeteria roof for all to see. amzingly, we were all sober for this....

funniest thing i have ever heard

my friend allison went to mit to audition for "star wars the musical" (yes, it exists). she comes back. ensuing converation:

kate: did you see any hot guys?
allison: it was an audition for a musical. about star wars. at MIT. no, i didn't see any hot guys.

but seriously, if anyone wants to come up and see the premiere of star wars the musical, i'd be glad to house ya. apparently the storm troopers tap dance.

i love boston.

Tickle Spot

i have a tickle spot!!!!! woohoo. unfortunately for you ladies it can only be tickled by guys and not just every guy but only a few who have the necessary equipment. now you probably have your mind in the gutter right now but please take it out. its nothing like that. george found it. it could never be anything like that since he found it. but i'm done now. i'm not actually gonna tell you where or how i'm ticklish. i just wanted to let you know that i'm not a total ice cube. yet. love y'all bunches and miss you much :)

honey, im... back in st louis

ok so next weekend (sept 16,17,18) i will be making an appearence in stl. why, you might ask? because i am in working and we are performing on saturday and sunday. if you are in town, dont come and see it. i have to sing and i dont want to subject any of my friends to that... its weird cause like when i went back to stl over labor day, it didnt feel like home anymore. truman feels like home. weird i know. but yeah, im not looking forward to going back. well, i am looking forward to seeing my friends, but besides that, i dont feel there is a reason for me to go back. eh whatever... i dont feel like writing anymore. maybe a nap. ah yes! nap it is!

"give me 2 hours a day of activity, and i'll take the other 22 in dreams" ~ luis bunuel

oh my god

i'm so angry at school right now. i'm just on her to rant, this really isn't interesting at all so if i were you i'd stop reading now on account that this is going to be boring and annoying.
but i'm so mad at homework. i can't find these stupid articles that i need and it's pissing me off and i'm in a horrible mood. a horrible horrible mood.
yea that's about it. k bye.

I FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LAURA LAURA LAURA LAURA LAURA LAURA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I JUST DOWNLOADED "ALL OR NOTHING" FROM MYTUNES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some guys in my dorm (Ryan Hall) got busted for having a party and so they had to put up information about drinking and so on. This is one of the signs they put up..... Posted by Picasa

my first act of college rebellion

although less scarring that yours, katie, mine was very productive.

so i was on the "t" in boston (the subway/train system) and a bunch of college guys were standing right next to me and my friends and were talking about how they once saw a guy lick on of the railings in the subway for $5. i was naturally listening to their conversation and started laughing. they noticed i was laughing so we laughed together until i said "well, i'd do it". and they were like "what?" so they started a collection, but could only get $4. but i did it anyway. everyone in the car was watching. someone got a picture. so yes, my first act of college rebellion was licking a subway railing for $4. one of the guys said i made his day. my friends said i'm going to get aids. oh well. i made four bucks baby.

(kinda puts that eating a pickle on the ground story into perspective, huh?)

my first act of college rebellion

ok so it isnt too drastic, and it isnt really a rebellion because i don't think my parents will really care very much.... but yeah. hehe :)

Woman Sale

Whee! I am being auctioned off to raise money for the hurricane victims. That's right. The 3rd floor of Missouri Hall is having a "Date Auction" (or as Mike Bono calls it...a "Woman Sale"). Anyways, I told Bono he better bid on me if no one else does. That way I won't look like a loser. But he better not bid too much and win or else I have to go on a date with him. And that's just weird and awkward. Then I won't get to go on a date with one of the other guys so I can get to know more people. Oh well should be tons of fun!! Whee!!!!!!!!

oh kathleen...

ok, so you know how i told you all earlier that i have a rather weird roommate?
well here's a story from last night:
ok so my school is set up like a giant u shape and like the smart people we are we call the giant grassy area in the middle "the u"
ok so last night i was walking back from taco bueno with kelli, matt and brian
as we're passing the u (to get back to matt and bri's dorm)
we notice that someone is dancing by themselves in the middle of the u
sure enough it's my roomie
she was having a personal dance party at about midnight last night
oh what a special girl...

I still don't believe.

Apparently, I have been attending this thing called "college" for almost two weeks now. But I'm not entirely sure that it has actually sunk in. Here I am, in my dorm room, pictures of you guys all around, homework and dirty clothes scattered on the ground, people in a guy's dorm down the hall begging me to come hang out with them, drunk people roaming the halls, and I still get a little bit of a shock whenever I think "I'm in college", or when I read a blog that has the word "college" in it.

P.S. Yay for gay friends.

grinnell + anything = sex

i'm in this class called "language in nonhuman primates." sounds cool, huh? well, we've read one chapter from the ape book by now, and at least half of it was about bonobo (apes smarter and classier than chimps) sex. as in:

"the pigmy chimpanzee [bonobo] is the only one, out of 200 species of primate, to devise this behavior [lesbian sex]... and whenever they are delightedly absorbed in this 'lesbian' behavior, they seem proud of their splendid invention."

"bonobos extend their sexual inventiveness further, to include male-male mounting, multiple positions in male-female copulation, and multi-individual deterosexual and homosexual copulatory bouts. sexual activity is usually contagious in bonobo society; often, when one couple starts to copulate, the rest of the gropu members express interest in some way. in particular, gg rubbing between females seems to arouse sexual interest in males [and guys think girls making out is hot--see a similarity?]. some individuals my initiate copulation with another partner, others may run close to the first couple, touch them, and scream in unison, or even join in with them."

(if you skipped to the end, i suggest you go back and actually read the quote. imagine reading a chapter about this stuff)

yay for study breaks

bad: wasting an hour i should have spent working on my paper due tomorrow

good: making magnets!

i have made the following people classy magnets (i will get them to you somehow):
reba
ella
sarah
missy

everyone else, don't feel bad. i just didn't see a picture that struck me of you. or i ran out of magnets.

w00t for criminals II

This time, the criminals to whom I refer are actually in jail. Some buddies and I went to play volleyball at the local prison tonight. I must say, my gradeschool skills still make a presence on the court. My team, consisting of me, Denis and Sarah (my pals), Kenny, Seth, and some other guy (probably murderers)definitely won 3 of the 5 games. Our intramural team is going to be the shit. I did miss dinner, cause I had to go straight from work to choir to volleyball, but Alex was nice enough to give me some Easy Mac, which is easily one of my favorite foods. So no complaints there. Plus a lovely bottle of grapejuice provided by my lovely roommate. Now I must go do all of my homework for tomorrow and Friday, because tomorrow is NFL kickoff and you know what that means. Thirsty Thursday, my friends. I discovered Monday night that beer is actually good if it's really really cold. Let the fun begin.

Music, fire, balls, and phlegm.

These past couple days, I have signed my life away. It's all very exciting. Monday, I became a part of two choirs; one everybody gets into, and then the most selective choir on campus. Wheee! I was really surprised I got into the second one, but I'm not going to complain. Then yesterday, I signed up to start taking firefighter classes at the end of September. So next semester, expect some totally hot pictures of me in my firefighting attire. I also joined an intramural volleyball team. Here are some suggested team names, let me know what you think (if you don't catch the sexual innuendos, then I am very sorry for you). The Come From Behinds. Sets on the Beach. Kinky Sets. The Penthouse Players (you probably don't get this one, and I'm too lazy to explain). Will Work For Sets. Cogito Ergo Boom (We think, therefore we spike). Gratuitous Sets And Violence. On Your Knees. Don't Bump To Strangers.

And I'm sick. But I'm going to play volleyball at the prison again tonight, so I'm in good spirits. Now, I must go finish the most difficult French homework ever to be assigned in the history of aquiring knowledge.

ATTENTION

This is actually to make up for the Thanksgiving break thing. I actually did that to see who we need to fly in for Thanksgiving. Is it just Missy and Carolyn? Cuz I think we can all pitch in and send money for plane tickets. That is all. Just let me know by Friday if you think you can contribute some money, then I can see how much tickets would cost and divide the number. Thank you much! AIM: BamBam11541, email- well ask me on AIM so I don't get a bunch of spam. Thanks.

Thanksgiving Break

Hey, could everyone post their break days for Thanksgiving, I want to have a party so we can all see each other. And could you also get me your email addresses as well? I don't have everyone's. And even if you aren't coming back to St. Louis for Thanksgiving, post anyway, just cuz I say so. Whatever. Tip for college students: too much alcohol/any alcohol+ people you don't know+ dancing= bad. So the answer is don't drink. At least, unless you're around friends. That is all.

Ugh

Ok first of all. My computer had to be sent back to dell. I was all excited about getting it back from ITS and now I have to wait like another month for my computer. Oh well I am right by the computer lab in my dorm so it's not that bad I guess. Just frustrating.

Second. My car. It's gone!! Like beyond fixable. Pretty much mangled front end. And radiator juices were all over. But its all good because everyone in the car was alright. I just miss my car.

comments

ok so Peter suggested that i do this thing to the blog settings to make it so that those stupid ads can't be posted as comments. So now when you guys comment you are gonna have to do some word recognition thing (you know when they have that little thing that says "type the word you see in the box")
I just thought I should warn you so you wouldn't be like "what the??!?!"
:)

w00t for criminals

I'm sure some of you out there have heard that the "Family Guy" movie, Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story is coming to theatres in December. Well, guess who already saw it. That's right! Me! Last night. Bootleg copy from UVM. It was definitely hilarious. You should all see it. Even if you've never seen an episode of "Family Guy", it has its moments. Many of them. Sooooooooo........yeah.

i made it!

i'm finally here! i made it to knox and everything is so cool. we had this cute little indian guy come to our school, and he let us all have standing ovations. everyone had a chance to be lifted onto peoples shoulders, and everyone would cheer for you. it was crazy. it's insane trying to remember names and meet people. i have already been approached and chatted up by a registered sex offender. creepy huh? luckily my ra is big into women studies and is a big feminist (coincidence huh?) and she called me over and told me about it. apparantly last year he was caught with a large quantity of date rape drugs, and his roomate was a big witness against him, but for some reason he wasn't kicked out. the people are so crazy/cool though. ah, i love college. it's so...grown up?

the sex beetle

so, in a floor meeting we had, they suggested we work out codes with our roommate so that, for instance, if there was a star on your dry erase board, you wouldn't go in. well, naturally, this system doesn't work if you forget to draw the symbol. thank god for the sex lock...

anyway, i would be doing homework right now, but my room is kind of off-limits at the moment. oh well...

sadness

RIP bessie, my super sexy soccer mom van
we will miss thee.

naked guys screaming EVIL...

i forgot to mention earlier that today was the 100-point good vs. evil ultimate frisbee game. it went on for nearly 8 hours. but it was so much fun! we tied around 50, and then again at 95, 96, 97, 98, and 99 (obviously, it was a close game). near the end it was reeeeeeeeally dark, and we were all standing on the sideline screaming and trying to see what was happening. then some guys took all their clothes off... yeah... anyway, good (my team) finally triumphed over evil. remember my fun frisbee cheer? well, this is a sample of today's:

good:
let's get fired up
fired up for jesus!

evil:
eat their babies!!
