a little reminder of the good ol days
remember when we were young and watched disney movies and sang along? and then when high school hit, you wondered if anyone else still watched disney movies or if you were just that weird? and then we all met and found that singing along to the movies was still cool (at least to us). then college came around, and all of a sudden everyone seemed to be more mature than you. well, lucky me, i found more people just like you guys. 2 guys and i started a disney movie night on tuesdays at which you can sing along. thank god, i'm not the only one who hasn't grown up. i think i want to be a child (meaning 18) forever. it's so much fun. i hope all of you find the cool people at college who aren't afraid to express their love for disney movies.

i've already found my disney crowd...they are girls...but they are a crowd...
me and my roommates sing to just about any disney movie all the time. its hilarious. we even dance too. and our ra was talking about having a disney marathon some night where she would try and get like every disney movie possible and we could have a huge marathon that goes from like 5 one day, all through the night, and into the next. heh
On my retreat, we sang Disney songs on the bus. The most enthusiastic person was a guy, too. It was real exciting. I love that singing a song everybody knows can unite you and take away some of the initial awkward silence.
we took a bus to des moines to go to the mall (you know you're in the middle of nowhere when des moines means civilization), and on the way back we sang disney songs. people were impressed by how many words i knew, especially the fast parts like in "poor unfortunate souls," etc. (on the way there, my friend sam told dead baby and helen keller jokes)
yay for disney! all my suitemates also love disney...and the music! i know that people are downloading those disney tunes from mytunes like crazy. including me! i have like five days of music now! i love mytunes!

Hey now. I thought Seussical was gonna be really stupid and suck and turns out, I loved it! I wish I could see B and the B, but I won't be back in the Lou til Xmas.
