let's go camping
guys, i totally think we should take a camping trip together. how fun would that be? we can rent a couple sites, go someplace with plumbing and a place to swim... let me hear some feedback here... first weekend in august maybe? (by the way, carolyn, could your parents get us a discount on a campsite somewhere?)

doesn't jax family own property somewhere? but i'm completely with the camping thing. i love camping. i smell a fire last night when i was driving home (i think it was contained) and got completely nostalgic about the good old camping days with the girl scouts. and when i was three and stuck my hand in a camp fire.
We have a few tents, along iwth the hammocks. Since I"m at work, I'll look for some good campsites next to lakes and such.

That's near Carlyle Lake. I like that idea. It's got shower and is surrounded by the lake. It looks to be 30 mins to an hour away, if my approximations are correct.
Only problem is most tent sites allow only 1 car, so we'd have to borrow someone's Suburban/ Expedition. And most sites ask for a minimum of staying 2 nights. Also, the maximum occupancy is 8 people. I guess we could rent two sites...I can't find a price for any of it! Balls. Okay, it's dinner time for me.
My family has a trailer down near Union that we could use. Depending on how many go, we might need some tents, too. There is a river to swim in and a lake for boating and fishing if you like that sorta schtuff. It costs for guests, but I think it's something like $6 a person.
id love to go, but im in LA until the first saturday in august. besides that im good to go
well have fun camping in "union" and "carlyle lake"....i'll be in the rockies...with boys...way before you...(sorry this is me trying to see a faint silver lining in me leaving first)
keegan and mrm, ideas are both good. i think at carlyle lake it's $14 a site. if we got more than 8 people together we could just get two sites. the only thing there is that all the campsites look like they're designed for rvs.
mrm, that sounds pretty good. (i will ignore the fact that it's in union, for god's sake.) any more information you can give?
I didn't completely read the whole post, so I didn't see the dates. Let's shoot for last weekend in July instead, d'accord?
no. there is another camping trip planned for the last week of july that i might be going on. and its my birthday. i never do anything for my birthday and i want to do someting big for when i turn 18. i would offer up our cabin but i dont think my dad would let me. wait i know he wouldnt. too many things have gotten stolen from it and im sure he wouldnt trust a bunch of teens he doesnt know. anyways i wish that we could so we could atv cause thats ssoo much fun. oh well.
carlyle lake is a good spot except for the lake has a massive drowning record because of all the undercurrents or whatever they are called.
i totally want to tent it. i don't know about anyone else.
Tenting it is cheaper and I'm sure plenty of us have tents. I'm trying to remember how many our old one sleeps, and I can always borrow one from the Machecas if we need a big ass ten person tent or something.
we cant go the last week in july though.
Time. Out. LoHo. Why do you care when we go? Seriously? I thought you hated most of our guts (I mean, obviously not mine, and not Keegan's, but you know. Hells yeah. *freaky tongue thing*)Wouldn't you rather go on your precious trip with.....nevermind......noooo.....noo....*flapping arms*....nooo......*rolling on the floor*....nevermind.
because the cor jesu girls are going on the trip with that group and i dont like the cor jesu girls
i'm gone from july 29 to august 6. i would very much like to schedule this little camping trip around that if possible
I'm leaving for Michigan and college on or about August 7. Better schedule it around that too. Cause y'all know I am duh camping queen.
