hooray!

Happy 500th Post!

I just wanted to draw everyone's attention to the fact that this is Marker Splotches' 500th post since its creation in April. How cool/loserish are we? And I decided I'm having a party when we get 5000 visitors. And none of you are invited.

Just a note to the 5% of viewers that still use Windows ME upgrade for christ sake, every day you use the OS you are making yourself even dumber, and proving to the world you can't learn from your mistakes and are suceptable to microsofts cheap marketing ploys

what's a Windows ME upgrade? and how is using a Mac making people dumber? and can you learn to start spellling things correctly please? cause sometimes i totally do not understand or misinterpret what you say because you can't spell worth shit.

and jeff, i wasn't trying to be mean by saying the stuff about the spelling. just trying to help you improve yourself. i mean, hey, isn't that what you do every time you get on your little soapbox on the blog? again, not being mean. just stating a fact.
now i'm off to work.

Hmm I must have forgotten that I posted here. Anyway, when you said that you had almost 5,000 visits I checked the sitemeter stats(which I suggested where installed in the first place) and the two things I usually look at(and that I am anal about on my own site) are browswer share and OS.

To my surprise some people think it is a good idea to still use the most unstable microsoft operating system ever. Yes ME is even worse than 98 pre SE.

I don't try to make people dumber, it just naturally happens, and you all seem to be daily evidence of that.

I know I suck at spelling. The main reason is that I neglect to proofread my comments until they have already been published, and because you can't edit them, I suppose you will have to deal with it. Also, while I feel I can type rather fast(80+ wpm when taking a standard typing test on a keyboard that I am used to) I am thinking even faster. I am usually logicly proccessing my next thought while typing the old one, and as some of you may know my multitasking skill is far below adequate, so what I type doesn't always come across the way I was thinking it.

I can understand it fine, but sometimes I have to read a sentence a few times and use context to get what I wanted to say.

Appologies for that, maybe you should just think it over a little more to find what I wanted to say.

or maybe we should all learn to read minds so then you don't even have to go to the trouble of typing.

i don't really care how fast you type. maybe if you talked less it would be easier to proofread.

maybe, but i suppose we will never know that.

"which I suggested where installed in the first place"
jeff, no matter how much i think about that sentence, it will never make sense. and just because you can type fast doesn't mean you're typing well, or correctly for that matter.
and i still don't understand all that computer crap, but i've always used macs, and i like them. but i think there should only be one kind of computer system in the world, and all the people working at different companies right now could come together in a beautiful union of computer brainiacs, and make even better stuff. i know that would never happen, and i know the reasons why it wouldn't (i'm writing this for jeff's sake, because i feel he would start trying to tell me why it isn't possible...no offense meant, i'm just formulating a thought based on past comments), but wouldn't that be amazing?
um, me find food. me eat. hungry.

erm no, in fact that would be far from amazing. The world thrives on Competition, taking that away is very bad, although it seems to be the goal of companies like walmart(please god dont make me argue that one)

and the sentence you dont understand says that i suggested that the sitemeter stats where installed, or rather linked to. You can find them at the bottom of the main page.

merge, it's a nice idea, but it's really better to have choices, and opposing companies who force each other to improve (hopefully). if there were just one company, they wouldn't need to do much, except maybe think up things that would force us to pay more.

PADMÉ: That sounds an awful lot like a dictatorship to me.
A mischievous little grin creeps across his face.
ANAKIN: Well, if it works...
