Whoa shit

There was a bombing in London, 40 people killed and hundreds injured. It is reported that this is the worst attack on London since WWII. I just thought everyone should know.-- And on lighter news, Angelina Jolie is adopting a little girl from Ethiopia, she's 5 months old and will be named Zahara Marley Jolie. It is also noted that officials in Ethiopia deem the cost of adopting a child to be around $20,000, so as to thwart bad guys. That's the news as of 2:23pm, July 7. This is reporter Keegan Kelley signing off.

People should adopt kids from america. The government pays for alot of the stuff and plus the rest of the cost is made up by the free labor you can make them do.

i think i'll move to england. it'd be nice to be in a place where the worst recent attack killed less than 40 people. you know, that's just a little more than the number of people that die from falling off ladders every year? man.

Why do people only care if people get injured in large numbers at once? Why do events only make the news when its huge. If one person dies, no one cares. If 100 people die, its a tragedy, if 1,000 people die, then its just a statistic.

I think it's still considered a tragedy if 1000 people die. And every person who dies can't make the news. Of course, it will be huge news when I die, but I'm hoping that's not for quite a while.

it's more like people only care about freak accidents, including everything where lots of people die (except maybe for war which seems to be an accepted death)

correction- stalin said it. it's so easy to mix up russian communit dictators, isn't it?

and i don't think we're giving enough credit to people. like mr. kyle said, it's the media that's apathetic. people don't like it when people die, whether it's 3,000 in a terrorist attack, 40 in a plane crash, or 1 in a shark attack. people care.
