welcome home dailee! glad you're back safe and sound. hope your trip was fun! see ya lata, alligata
wow! after looking up who billy corgan was, i am thoroughly impressed and happpy for you! i remember when we went to germany and i borrowed your smashing pumpkins cd. that's so awesome!! have fun!!
oh, and thanks for sending that letter to me!
okay, as much as i am a smashing pumpkins fan (think 1994) and i think that billy's band zwan was good, for christ sake, billy corgan is a person just like you and me.
agreed ML
Yes but billy crogan has done amazing things for music and has reached something deeper inside many many people. And for that, I would rather meet him than a homeless person who has done nothing to better my life. Would you say people like the president are only people, and the pope is only a person, and buddha and jesus where only people?
Fact is some people accomplish more than others, and people desire to have those people in their presence
so you really don't want to meet the person, just the accomplishments
People make accomplishments, don't they? They don't just happen on their own.
In meeting one’s idol, one realizes exactly that: he or she is simply a person. Moreover, one also realizes that anything is attainable. My respect for him as an exceptional musician remains the same, but now he is a real human being, as well as an untouchable legend.
dailee!!!! welcome back, home girl. I'm so happy for you that you got to meet Billy Corgan!
I'm glad you're back and that you're safe. :)
dailee i missed you! i almost called your house and asked your mom when you were coming back, but then... you know, stuff...
aaaanyway welcome back!
Seeing as i spell most things wrong, switching two letters is very believable, but then again you like to hear yourself talk.
acomplishments are the art, he is the artist. Your suggesting that I would also rather listen to his music than meeet him, which I believe it is clear that I never indicated was the case.
