wow, i got to meet penn and teller. man, this has been my summer for meeting famous people... oh, and by the way, teller actually talks. that small piece of information made me really happy. yeah, clayton and i just got back from defcon 13 in vegas. it was a geektastic blast. several world records were broken this year (as they always are), including farthest wifi connection, reaching a startling 125 miles UNAMPLIFIED! holy crap, that is amazing. i also happened to see ray liotta and while i was in the MAC pro store, glenn danzig (misfits, danzig) came in with his wife. she bought like $500 worth of cosmetics. it was a pretty crazy 5 days. hope everyone's summer is going well, and for those already there, and those soon to leave, i wish you all the best of luck and happiness in college.

yeah, only one guy managed to pick the "new" locks this year. they made it really difficult, and the guy that eventually picked it was working at it for like 2 hours or something insane like that.
i am so f***ing jealous, dailee.
*snicker* by the way, has anyone besides me seen the muppets from space with the commentary? where they make fun of ray liotta's name? anyone?? *stalks off to find a geekier blog*
by the way, i excitingly met someone famous recently, too (jasper fforde). it was a lot of fun, and i told him he should make a t-shirt out of a picture in his book and it's totally going to happen! *sighs dreamily*
