interesting day

here's an example of things; this is a conversation i had with three girls i happened to walk past. (this begins after introducing ourselves)
girl 1: you went to nerinx? i went to middle school with a girl who went there. dailee.
me: i love dailee!
girl 1 (lindsey, by the way): she probably doesn't remember me.
girl 2: (pointing to girl 3) do you think she looks like a lesbian?
me: no
girl 3: i'm not a lesbian.
girl 2: (pointing to girl 1) do you think she looks like a lesbian?
me: no
girl 2: do you think i look like a lesbian?
me: no
girl 2: (holding up plastic horn) do you think this looks like a lesbian?
me: yes.

also today, i sang karaoke, had a picnic, went canoeing, and happened onto a swordfight. (i register for classes tomorrow) plus, there was an ice cream social, a play about diversity, and our 3rd small group discussion, all of which involved these lengthy arguments (mostly this guy benjamin vs. everyone else) be it about self-governance, sexuality, or diversity.
