Summer is on its way

as i was watching one of my favorite childhood movies, the sandlot, i was reminded of how awesome summer used to be. dont get me wrong, i have fun now but compared to the days when we didnt have to work or really do anything, its not as great. i was in this awesome daydream today in class having to do with past summers- catching fireflies, playing jailbreak, not wearing shoes if i can help it for 3 months, chasing after the ice cream man, playing army, swimming in my grams' pool, school yard hockey, riding my bike, umbros, rollerblades, melting fudgsicle running down my arm, getting up only to go out and play and falling asleep completely drained. sure i do some of those things now, but you know what i mean. wow, remembering all that was great :D
