today is a sad day. let us all take a moment for silence............watching france lose was heartwrenching. zidane shall never win another world cup. *tear* and now i'll have to wait 4 more years before i can cheer them on again.
but now i look on to better things such as the spaghetti and spinach that is waiting to be eaten :)

Click dis shiz.
I too am sad about France. I wore my Zidane jersey to work. Poopy poo.
i couldn't be fucking happier about zidane!! how glorious is it that his last move EVER on a soccer field was an extremely inapproptiate HEADBUTT. oh man. how sad for him, but how hilarious. i just wanna know what was said to him to make him lose it like that.
i'm glad italy won.
but i'm with amanda....it sucks that we have to wait four more years. :(

i was watching espn and one of the people said that materazzi twisted zidanes nipple and then called him a terrorist. rather strange, i think. but this could be wrong
i didnt see any nipple twisting... but whatever. I wasn't really taking sides, but it was an amazing game. World cup should be played every year. This evey four years thing sucks.
It's strange. I've always been a nerd brother at arms and sportastical ignoramus. My brethren, to whom sports was also just a fad for the athletic and formerly athletic (- i.e. the active and stand-up members of society)are now joining their ranks in craze that the world cup has caused. Former nerds, geeks, and freaks of other kinds have slipped into the world of sports...for what, i ask, for what? International flare and current trendiness has enveloped my once fringe contingency and brought them into the mainstream.
"The sea and ESPN are my bitch lovers..."
an interpreted quote from wedding crashers.
no way man. that dude said he did not call him a terrorist. but zidane said that he did say something very serious and personal....but he wouldn't say what.
nick, that made me smile
if any of you ever go to Greece, I would definitely recommend going to an Olympiacos football game. It is one of the most fucking unbelievable things I have ever been to.
