a way to get out of this college crap
so i don't want to go to college, least of all wellesley. i don't know if anyone else shares this sentiment (not of me not going to wellesley, but just not wanting to go to college in general), but i hope i'm not alone. when i told this to spitz (we're in communication- she's still a super gal), she offered this list of how to get out of going to college. which one should i do? they're all pretty tempting...
- you could become male
- you could discover you already have an undergraduate degree
- you could find out you're actually just a clone of the real missy when she comes back to take her rightful place in college
- you could get amnesia and wander around the country not knowing who you are and eventually settle down to work at a wal-mart somewhere
- you could hear the call to become a priest/nun/rabbi/minister/monk etc.
- you could discover you were actually raised by wolves, and decide to take some time to be with your kind
- the mother ship could come to reclaim you
- you could plan to spontaniously combust
- you could hire a body and uh...mind double
- you could chain yourself to (insert stationary (that part is key) object) in protest of (insert issue)
- you could finally tell the world the truth--that you failed health class in high school-- and go back to retake sophomore year

i'm fond of the pretending that you are male one... thats pretty funny
and yes, i totally understand where you are coming from... i'm excited yes, but do i want to go? no! well at least right now... just mere hours before i actually leave... it's scary but that's what makes life so exciting... not knowing what's coming next
Rebuttal
-boy's college
-then you'd be forced to go to graduate school with all the extra time you've got in life
-clones go to college too
-yeah the walmart one's pretty good
-Do you really want to spend your life in a nunnery? I sure don't.
-wolves have colleges too
-...and take you to alien college
-you'd go to hell for that and in hell there'd most CERTAINLY be an eternal college waiting for you
-I don't have a response to that.
-It really is a shame when they cut down acres of colleges to build forests. :(
-I like this one actually. Going back to high school would kick ass.
college sucks...take my warnings and don't go...
Meh just go, youll be happy in the long run. Oh and my pic today(8/13/05) is from chesterfield city hall.
why don't you want to go to college anymore?
i was never sure i wanted to go, i just thought its what i have to do and what everybody expects me to do because ive done so well in school... i dont know if ill like it or not, as i havent been there yet, but at least i have members of the other sex attending...
keep complaining though, im sure it makes everybody feel less alone
feet- (also known as stef) i don't want to go to college because school is for tools. and fools. and people who know what the fuck they're doing with their lives.
kyle- you are very much right. and i will keep complaining because it does make me feel less lonely.
i never really wanted to go to college- it's just what you do after high school. i'd rather go free-lance writing and live off the land in a shack in montana, but that's highly unlikely right now. although my parents would support that lifestyle, which pisses me off.
spontaneous combustion it is
screw this. i'm going to webster
'kyle- you are very much right. and i will keep complaining because it does make me feel less lonely.'
you should hold double standards. I am pretty sure that many people have given many other people shit about complaining, and I hardly think you are innocent yourself. Don't support it one day and then bash it the next. Doing so will destroy your credibility. Just FYI, don't kill the messenger.
what use would that information do me?
would it be better if "complaining" was replaced with something such as "discussing your thoughts on the high school afterlife"?
man... i want to go to a wolf college...
i think college will be fun. and i think i'll learn stuff that may help me get a job. i'd hate to not go and then need a college degree later in life. so i'll go now, when my parents pay for most of it.
