by the way...

for all of you (meaning, everyone) who decided not to visit me at work, you have missed your opportunity to go up into the arch for free. sucks to be you. because i got fired today. sucks to be me.

now, you may ask, why did such an outstanding person get fired from a job at which she was without a doubt stellar? well, because i was tardy too much. but mainly because i didn't know i was supposed to be a greeter, especially the day when the greeter shift overlapped the shift i was already coming in to work. really. who schedules someone for 12 hours at a time? i sure wouldn't.

so anyway, just so you know, i have a lot more free time on my hands. and next time you go to the arch, you'll have to pay the $10.

not really. Arizona is a big state, and it is possible to live in arizona and not close to the grand canyon. However if you live in st. louis city or county, you have only a 20 min drive to the arch. much less of an excuse. Plus there are lots of other things by the arch like our sports stadiums so one is down close to it a lot.

missy, you're a bad citizen.

and it would be a little hard to burn down the arch, because it's made out of steel (structural and stainless) and concrete. even the carpeting up at the top is flame retardent (or so i'm told).

oh anna! im sorry that really sucks. those people dont know what they did; firing the best teller and arch employee the girls scouts can pump out. not to mention someone with mad knitting skills and lord of the rings knowledge... hey it could come in handy at the arch...

Kyle, you're gonna live about 20 minutes from the canyon, so you'd better get your behind up there.
