Cute And Sad At The Same Time

There are these two ducks that are always together. They are boy and girl and they are always together. Me and Tom think they are boyfriend and girlfriend and we think they are adorable.

So today me and Tom were walking back from eating lunch and we noticed a commotion between three male ducks. We thought they were fighting over worms but it turns out they were all humping the girlfriend duck and she was desperately trying to get away. Then her boyfriend finally was able to beat up the other two ducks who were like raping her and she was like hiding behind him while the other boy ducks walked away.

I think the ducks are cute because they like each other and are always together and because the boyfriend saved the girlfriend from the other boy ducks. But it really upset me because basically in nature female animals get raped. I was watching a discovery channel show about like how for most females sex is extremely painful and I remember in particular they were talking about how female hippos have so much pain while having sex and it lasts a really long time and the female has to occasionally not only pull herself up to the top of the water to breathe but she also has to pull the male up so he can breathe too. It's like the guy just gets to have sex it feels good for him and then he can go do it to another girl but the girls have to deal with all the hardships like having painful sex and having to raise the babies and stuff. I think that's sad for the poor girl hippos and the poor girl duck. At least this duck had a sweet boyfriend duck who saved her.
