facebook... *shudders*

perhaps this argument isn't particularly strong coming from a someone who is at this very moment "blogging", but still, i believe the issue needs to be addressed. facebook... god, where do i start. what a worthless, sorry substitute for actual human interaction. seriously people, is it that freaking hard to meet someone for the first time - i can't believe i am actually going to say it - *gasp* face to face?! personally, the thought of thousands of complete strangers (just because you go to the same school as i do does NOT mean i know you) having such personal information as my phone number and my picture as well as (obviously) the school i attend, scares the shit out of me. although i am not a user of other online blogging utensils, there is something slightly more comfortable about the anonymity of such programs as livejournal and other blogging programs. but with facebook there is no escape.

ok, sorry to everyone out there that is on facebook. it was not my intention to offend anyone. just needed to get that out there.
