I have not blogged in what feels like eight years, so here i go. I saw episode III on opening night! wow. And i have actually seen it three times (it hasn't even been out for a week). call me loser. Not only that, but when cleaning my room i came upon loads of old star wars stuff (calanders, young jedi knight magazines, books, action figures) and realized that i obviously have no life.
on that note, there are only 51 days till half blood prince comes out!!!!
For anyone who may have forgotten, my graduation party is this sunday, May 29th, and everyone is invited. May 29th also happens to be my birthday, wahoo, so everyone has to come!!

I am bored. I also sense an argument coming on. Episode 3 sucked! discuss.
The dialogue of Episode III was utter shit. The action was unparalleled as far as Star Wars goes.
And Vader rising up just made me go "Yesss..."
Overall, good as far as the Star Wars prequels go. Below average as far as movies go.
I am going ahead and say that it was the worst one of all 6 movies. Reason, the viewer was hardly invested at all into the action. Other than a feeble attempt at a love scene(I might actually have cared a bit more if it wasnt done so poorly) and the final saber battle which we already knew the outcome of, I didnt feel drawn into the film at all.
In episode one their were several sequences that served to grab me and make me watch. The darthmaul quigon gin lightsaber fight, while not as cool looking as the anakin obiwan fight was more emotinally charged and i think a lot more tense. Aldo the pod-racing scene was very on the edge of your seat action. A ton of stuff was hinging on that race, and it wasnt clear that he HAD to win for the movie to progress onward.
episode 2. opening sequence with the whole assain chase was actually a little bit tense unlike ep3 which was utterly lame and of low production value. Second, the first unveling of the clone army. oh shit bet you didnt see that coming. And their was boba fet vs obi-wan, pretty involved fight. Finnaly, the battle of geinousis(sp?) in the colesseum was cool and i totally didnt see that coming either.
bottom line episode 3 was praticable and uninvolving. my vote= worst of the new three.

Well unfortunetly for you, you have no control over where I choose to stick. As a matter of fact though, I also posted my opinion on the 3rd episode on a unamed message board, where people actually think constructivly and don't attempt to inhibit other people from speaking their mind.
Then why don't you go hang out there and find some new friends and leave us alone.
Honestly I am hurt by that. If you are so offended by a public argument, then maybe you should not participate. I see no one else voicing their opposition to my presence, I honestly would like to know why you seen to have taken it as a personal goal to rid me from this site completely.

Nobody likes the Internet Male, even though he is obviously better than everybody else because he knows everything about computers, has the most sophistocated of tastes when it comes to motherfucking everything, has a critical eye for everything (and his critical opionion is always right), and he fucks supermodels even though they are below his tastes.

I don't see what is wrong with starting a discussion. I through out a detailed explanation on my opinion and was promptly told to shut up. My only intent was a purposeful dialouge concering a topic directly reffered to in both the post and the post title. I didn't say, hey lets argue about how big our internet penises are, I just wanted to see how people who liked the movie defended their claims because perhaps their was something I missed that could change my mind.
And nick I want people to form their own opinions, but I also want to here them. I'll take the IGN insult(i am a long time TXB member myself). At least you didnt say Gamespot though. I won't comment on the leave the girls alone part.
And stuart I think(although somewhat unfortunetly) that your description fits my ego well.

Oh and stuart, I never said I didnt enjoy it, I said it was the worst of the 6. I suppose I did say it sucked, but I have enjoyed other movies that suck. Like out cold. That movie was awful, but really damn funny.

wow. i never thought my blog would produce 27 comments. btw, jeff, everything you said about episodes 1,2, and 3 are your opinion and nothing else. maybe you didn't feel drawn to obi wan vs anakin as much as qui gon vs maul, but who cares? maybe i did feel drawn to it. the only thing that bothers me is that you say your opinion like it is a fact, when it's not. I disagree with you on a lot of stuff. btw, I think the third episode was the best of the prequels.
