yay for chucking expensive toys down long flights of stairs during critical and stressful times!
so...i picked a perfect weekend to lose control my fingers and let my cell phone go tumbling down a rather long flight of stairs...so i gots no way to communicate with y'all with the exception of email...not that i'm in town for you guys to notice....for the time being anyway...so i'm getting in town late on thursday night...sometime friday i hope to go to the verizon store...and get a phone by the following monday but thats doubtful because a. thats a holiday weekend and b. i have no money...so we'll see how that goes...i'm also hoping to get all my numbers transferred to my new phone...but that again is not fo' sho...so i might need all your numbers again...which sucks cause i had quite a complete phone list and was rather proud of it...but whatever...so theres my sob story and now i get to go play yet another round of board games with the fam and eat a few more pieces of turkey...so hasta luego and don't have too much fun without me!

or maybe her phone has a sim card and therefore can just transfer the numbers....

maybe you can order a phone online or something and it could be at your house when you come home? i know some companies do that and stuff... hmmmm i dunno. :)
i hope the turkey tasted good and you ruled your family in board games.
SIM cards are only used by Cingular and T-Mobile.

hey what about me? i need some serious lightening up sessions cause i'm lost without my phone...its crazy...i got a list of numbers in my back pocket that makes me sad...
right so i went to the verizon store here in denver and apparently denver is in the west region and stl is in the east region and its like 2 different companies...they don't communicate with each other at all...so there is no way to get a phone out here...so what i'm going to do is go to the verizon store on friday and say here is this covered under warantee...ifit is i'll have a new phone in 1-2 weeks...if its not i'm going to have them reincarnate Brady I (my old pos phone) and transfer all the numbers to him cause honestly i have no money to buy a new phone...Brady I will work i suppose i just need to cover him in duck tape or some such thing...it'll be trendy i swear...and as far as the transfering of the numbers go my old phone is busted with no screen capabilities so thank you jeff for putting it so elloquently...i'm SOL...but i can get them to transfer it for like $20 in store...so thats what i'll be doing...thanks for all the advice and sympathies guys...seeyouin a few days!

why are we always bashing on jeff? i think that because he is not making rude comments and is using his knowledge of computers and phones to help someone we should thank him.
