secret santa partay and the ball dropping
I think we should have the secret santa party seperate from the new year's party for three reasons:
A) two parties = more fun!
B) if there are people at the party who weren't involved in secret santa, i'd feel weird getting/receving a gift with them right there
C) reba can't come, and i'm sure there will be other people unable to attend as well since it's new year's and all, so it might be better just to make it a different night or day.
so i think everyone should say what day they'd like to do it and hopefully we can decide on something.
also, anyone up for First Night on new years? i know some peeps did it i believe last year, and it was way fun. lion king flashlights anybody?

not tuesday or wednesday...
ummm, we're having a fam party on the 30th, and i'm leaving on jan. 1st, so if we're not exchanging on new years, could we pull something together before that weekend? i would be much obliged, and super duper excited to see everyone. love!
coming back thursdaynight (29th)... i just want to see you all... ps there is something going on the 30th whether its this secret santa party business or not cause i want to see people asap...
i personally am busy on the 30th but i don't know if other people are. if that's a good night, go ahead and have a party and i'll try to catch up with you after i babysit.
my vote is with margaret. simply because i will have a friend from out of town that requires entertaining from the 31st on. so if we do the party on the 30 then she won't have to feel so out of place when she just arrived. (later youse guys can me her when we are partying the new year...where it's a bit more relaxed) i also have to majorly clean house on the 31.
