AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! i'm so excited, i'm so excited! RENT (that's right that fucking amazing musical that won a shit load of awards) is being made into a movie!!!!! it comes out on Nov. 23!! ok, so i'll be back in town then so i'm totally gonna go see it. who else is in? anyone? i saw the trailer and i got goosebumps and almost started crying. freakish? perhaps, but i am too excited to care!! picture me running around my house singing "La Vie Boheme". i was a little worried about whether they would capture the spirit of RENT, but the cast is made up of mostly the original broadway cast. and after watching the trailer...damn they can sing. ok, so here's the link to the main site, where you can watch the trailer.

whoa, jeff, what warranted the name calling? i mean this is a musical about acceptance, love, forgiveness, and to cherish every moment you have(along with dealing with the issues of homosexuality and living with AIDS), and you want to ruin this moment by being asshole? way to go, BENNY. i just posted this because i watched the trailer for the umpteenth time, and decided to let those who didn't already hear the news know that it's coming, and that we should see it together. it's the best to watch this show with people you care about so you can share the moment together.
oh, and i totally agree, missy. jonathon larson rocks.
actually i was a bit confused about the wording too because you found out about the movie a long time ago. that's all.
but anyways... you shall have to introduce me to rent. although i don't really like broadway-ish music, its too major-key or something. like that seasons of love song.
ooh reba, i saw the preview while working at the chase too, and i've never seen it and know nothing about it, but now i can't wait too! it looks awesome!
I remember seeing Rent at the Fox junior year with Jimmy Strzelec, Joe Locastro, and Kevin Becvar. Jim and I sat together and were rooting for Benny the whole time. Joe spent the whole show telling us to shut up and that Benny was a dick.
Silly kids with their ideals and such.

Aw...last I heard it was coming out on the 11th which was going to be a kick ass day before my birthday. Looks like it was pushed back a bit. :(
