i hate glitter
i have a sincere dislike towards graduation thank you cards
i don't like writing them
i don't like getting them
and i know of very few people who find a joy in them
seriously, you write down thanks for the crap. end of story
and maybe i'm just mad at graduation cards b/c my mother thought
it would be cute to get cards with glitter on them
so now there is glitter everywhere!
and i guess that it doesn't help that my little brother is working
on some boy scout project that involves a hammer and water
there are buckets of water everywhere and he won't stop hammering!
oh well... i'm done ranting
i guess i'll just go have some of my lactose-free ice cream now...

Get the friendly cards that say "thanks to you so much!" and then write a nasty note telling them how much you hate...money.
that would actually be really funny.. i might do that for one of my friend's cards just to see the reaction
books books, like you know? words

you can use the form letter i used:
dear ____________,
thank you so much for your generous gift! you really know what a teenage girl wants! :) i don't know how i'm going to spend the money, but i guarantee you it will go toward some cool dormroom accessory! thanks again,
happy graduate
I still haven't written my thank you cards. I graduated last June.
mine are like this:
Dear ____, ____, and ____,
thank you so much for the ____. It will certainly come in handy. i'm so glad you could make it to my party/graduation. thanks again!
love,
anna
when i hit three sentences, i feel like i've written pretty much all there is to say.
thanks for reminding me... i was gonna do them tonight, but instead im not. ill make some form fitted, but i like to write to people i like, so others will take a while longer. which is why i dont want to start!
yeah.. that's how i am going about it too... write stuff to the people who deserve stuff written to them and steal missy and anna's ideas for the people who only came over to get the free food...
all of mine basically went -
Dear So and So,
Thanks so much for the money you gave me for my graduation. I am saving it to use in college next year. (and then some cheesy goodbye sentence like - I'll see you soon! Thanks again, Katie)
etc etc. fun times. They are all licked, stamped, and sent though! Woo hoo!
