nerinx really is conservative

so did any one see our economic t-shirts? on the front it says "adam smith is my homeboy" (adam smith is the father of economics) and on the back is a quote from the movie "wallstreet" (it's from the 80s- charlie sheen, martin sheen, michael douglas-- need i say more?). the quote is "greed is good". so on the one side you got free trade, capitalistic loving adam smith, and then evil capitalistic man on the other. it's a good contrasting shirt. and the shirt is the color of money and the text and stuff is off white. it's really cool. but ms. johnson-budd didn't get it approved by the administration. apparently (i got a call tonight from "karen johnson, your next-door neighbor and economics teacher") there's been a lot of backlash from faculty and administration and we can't wear the shirts at school. ms. johnson sounded freaked. she has to go talk to sr. barbara about it.

what the fuck happened to our school? i'm glad we're leaving when we are. it's only going downhill. soon it will just be a female cbc...
