Ok, so I may be a little behind the times, but did you know they now make hybrid SUVs?? what the fuck is the point??? So now when you drive an SUV you only use as much gas as a regular car? Jesus!!!

frankly, there isn't a point. suvs are freaking ugly. so now there's hybrids with poor gas mileage and a tendency to flip over in sharp turns? whoopee. sign me up.

I don't know about hybrid SUVs, but Ford's got a concept car out now that's a pickup that can run on 3 different types of fuel (gas, hydrogen, and E85) and only lets you use things like the engine's turbocharger wen running on hydrogen.
Lots of people I know say it's ugly, but for a pickup (with looks inspired by trains), I think they did a decent job with it.

that said, it's a step in the right direction. 20-30mpg is better than 10-20mpg
it's funny you should mention jesus. because he drove a suv hybrid.
ps- my parents got an suv! what the fucking hell? i yelled at my dad, but to no avail. it's hideous. i can't believe it. they used to be hippies! now they're consumer yuppies! argh. oh wait, so am i....
