he's real!!!!

ok, so since school is out of the picture, i've been working about 56 hours a week. borders has hired me full time, and the club a few nights a week. but i had to share...tyler durden is real. he is fucking real and alive. and he works at the university club with me. there is also someone else you may recognize. tom collins. that's right. tyler durden and tom collins work together at the university club. and they are cool. they are real. which i must say is better than santa clause being real.

well tyler durden guy at work looks scarily like the brad pitt character and he's always talking about how he and his girlfriend fuck so loud that they scare the dogs and how bad consumerism is although i don't think he does anything to the clam chowder. tom collins guy is just like the tom collins from the movie rent...he looks like his twin. and he has the voice. oh yes does he. he has tatoos on his arms and we talk about tatoos sometimes...did i mention i'm going to get another? anywho, another little tidbit about fight club is that palahuik only wrote it as a short story when he was just bored one day. in fact, the short story is chapter six in the book. what's really funny is that it wasn't really about fight club originally. it could have been the chicken raising club for all he cared when writing the story. he just chose fight club on a whim. but when writing the book, it took over. it's so interesting to see how stories evolve.
