chocolate!!!

ok today I had my first brush with roadkill! ahh! I was driving to school (on the highway) and suddenly I see this bird fly right in front of my bumper - i thought i had missed it - but no, there was a dull little thud noise a few seconds afterwards on the right side of the bumper. I jumped like two feet and i wanted to curl up in a little ball - i felt terrible! But then i realized I was drivinng on the highway with both hands over my mouth and both feet about a foot off the floor and I was rapidly decreasing in speed and driving slightly off to the left.... so then i had to go back to driving, but I felt so bad!!!!!!! Fortunately there is no bird... um.... traces left on my car...... i am hoping that maybe it survived somehow and i really didn't kill it.... but i doubt that happened. poor little birdie.

school was the usual shit. (art - oo fun, free - research humanities shit, german - the time when i pretend that i can speak another lingo and i attempt to translate stuff, and humanities - projects projects projects all due on the same fucking day).

omfg - so today after school i was feelin kinda blah and i really really didn't want to go to work. On the way to work i decided that I was going to attempt being pleasant because i didn't want to bite these poor little kids's heads off. So i get there, doing some pre-class stuff and this one kid, Louis, walks in. Now this kid can be a pain because he is7. He just moved up from the really little kid class and so he is just getting into the more strict groove of an actual karate class instead of a half hour class of games. This kid is really cute anyway, but I just didn't feel like dealing with him today. So I was just sittin there and he comes up and says "I have a present for you!" and I thought "oh lord, what is it going to be??" and he hands me A CHOCOLATE BAR!! I was so excited! He gave me this huge smile and said "It's for you!" I instantly grabbed this kid and gave him a huge hug. All I have to say is this kid got some special treatment in class today. Omfg and the chocolate is really yummy too. I ate half the candy bar on the way home and had to stop myself and save some for later when I need a pick-me-up.
