.

um, so i don't have anything to say right now. just wanted to blog. um, it's hot. and the air you feel outside is what it feels like in my house because we only have air conditioning in my dad's room and the study, and the dining room and the parlor if we turn it on. i'm sleeping in this heat in my third-floor room. when i tell people this, they like to be positive and say, ooh, but that's good because then you can learn to just get used to the heat, whereas i cannot live without central air. but inside, they're thinking, poor bastard, maybe if i just keep talking i won't pity her so much.
and thanks to that big explosion downtown, we can expect even hotter weather for a few days than predicted. i saw an article today about that explosion, and it said "chemicals reported on explosion site" and i'm like, well gee, great reporting, because i'm pretty sure that it was a factory involving the production and such of chemicals so no shit there were chemicals on site. and they call themselves reporters...shameful.
um, anyways, i'm going to bed. for anyone who cares, the ysp show was pretty much shit. although i was entertained by attempting to steal holy water with nick, and then lobbing bits of caramel rice cakes into amanda's hair. a big one stuck and she never knew...hehe. until now. damnit.

Merge, I feel your pain. I too sleep in temperatures like those found in H-E-double hockey-sticks. That's why I don't like to have people over, cause they will all sweat so much that my home will become flooded.

i totally sympathize. saturday i woke up about noon-ish, sweating. it wasn't like i had a cover or anything, either. so i went downstairs and was all, mom, turn on the air conditioning. she was like, it's cool if you sit still in the breeze (from our attic fan). i was like, mom, i was lying in front of the window. but i sat where she told me to and tried to cool down. didn't work. so now i need to turn the air on (in every room but mine, merge) and check periodically to make sure she hasn't turned it off, or like last night, turned it down so much that the air coming out is no longer cool. it's one thing to wake up sweating at noon, but quite another at 6:30.
